Other Information : This is half amile south of Annalong cross-roads to the seaward side of the road It is in the towniand of Moneydorraghmore and civil parish of Kilkeel Although therewas a Celtic church of Kilhoran in the area between the present church and the main road, there was no building even In mediaeval times The Church of Ireland parish was therefore a new creation and the building dates from 1840 The chancel was added in 1883 The baptismal register dates from 1842, the burial register from 1857 and marriage register from 1879 Five stones in the churchyard were copied in Memorials of the Dead (M D ), Vol X, pp 297-8, one of which can no longer be seen Two of the memorial tablets were also copied In M D Annalong Presbyterian Graveyard has no stones earlier than 1865 but It has a baptismal and marriage register dating from 1840 The graveyard is level but many of the older graves are densely overgrown with briars and sycamores The oldest stone dates from 1845 and all dating from 1864 and earlier were copied The memorial tablets In the church prior to 1900 are also included below.
