Other Information : This is in the townland of Balloo and parish of Killinchy, on the secondary road from Ardmillanto Balloo The earliest Presbyterian minister of Killinchy, the Rev John Livingstone, was also rector (1630-1635) and after troubled times a separate meeting house was finally built in 1670 The present T-shaped building was erected in 1714 and extended in 1739 as the following inscription over one of the doors indicates:- "Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God and be more ready to bear than to give the sacrifice of fools AD 1739" For a full history see the Rev David Stewart's " Killinchy Presbyterian Church, 1630-1930, with a History of the Parish", Belfast, 1930 The baptismal register dates from 1835 the marriage register from 1845 and the burial register from 1912 The oldest stone in the graveyard, however, goes back to 1753, and all prior to 1865 have been copied The graveyard surrounds the church and hall and is level and well kept.
