Other Information : This is on the north side of the Ballygowan-Killinchy road in the townland of Kilinood and Ballybunden, the church being conspicuous by its very high steeple The present church was built in 1820, largely by the Gordon family of Florida Manor, but the site has probably been used for centuries The church burial register goes back to 1793 and the oldest stone is also of this date The other registers date from 1822 All headstones with dates of death prior to 1865 have been copied as well as the two memorial tablets in the church Most of the graves are in the lower graveyard, including 2 tombs which project under the upper graveyard The latter contains the old Gordon enclosure of stone with a high railing Three Gordon inscriptions are recorded in Memorials of the Dead, IX, 450.
