Other Information : It is in the townland of Carnalbanagh East, to the south-cast of Moira town A congregation was founded in Moira before the end of the seventeenth century and having been deprived of their meeting house about 1730, they built a new one in 1738 In 1748, they joined the Seceders Later the congregation divided into the Non-subscribing and Secession halves and the latter built a new church c1829 Presumably the congregation used the old graveyard or the parish graveyard because the oldest stone round the Presbyterian church dates only from 1856 However, a stone to the Rev James Hume dated 1782 was transferred here from Hillsborough graveyard The baptismal register dates from 1866 and the marriage register from 1845, while there is no old burial register.
