Other Information : OS 27 Grid Ref: 126463 This church was built in 1834 in the townland of Ballyvalley on the edge of the growing town of Banbridge It is in Church Square at the junction of Church Street and Dromore Street and is a conspicuous object as one drives in from Belfast The building replaced the older church 1 1/2 miles along the Lurgan road where parishioners continued to bury In 1867 the double transept on the north was added and in 1883 the chancel and south aisle Naturally, there are no ancient memorials but that to Captain Crozier is of interest artistically as well as historically All with dates of death before 1900 have been copied including-the inscriptions below the two older windows.
