Other Information : This is contiguous to the old graveyard and in the townland of Forthill and parish of Templecorran A diamond shaped plaque above the west door of the church declares that it was "Erected by D S Ker, Esq, MP AD 1847" The doorway to Mr Ker's private pew in the south transept is guarded by the portraits of his dogs on the corbels Viewed from the drawing room of his residence, Redhall, the church spire becomes the crowning point of a vista down an avenue between trees For a century and a half before that time the Established Church was unrepresented in this parish Surprisingly, the earliest death recorded on the stones occured in 1839-before the building of the church All stones with dates of death before 1900 have been copied.
